Watch young animals play

Watch young animals play
November 15, 2016

They practice movements which they later rely on in adult life. For example, lion cubs jump, run, chase, and wrestle each other to the ground so when they come to adult life their movement patterns are all ready for their first kill.

Now watch children play. They swing, crawl, jump, hang, squat climb etc… These are all important movement patterns that unfortunately we later lose in our human zoo like environment we live in. Everything around us is artificially created from the paths we walk on to the space around us. Even the way we exercise is artificially created.

As a consequence our movement suffers. Get out the zoo…move more. Move well.
