This movement requires good shoulder

July 22, 2017

This movement requires good shoulder strength just like an overhead press, and pec strength just like a bench press. The thing that sets these movements apart is their complexity. In order to be fully rounded in our fitness we should always be looking for ways to increase complexity in our movement patterns. I’ll be continuing to develop the complexity of this movement by improving my handstand, slowing the transition down, keeping my legs together and straight, and pressing from the bottom position back to handstand. How can you increase the complexity of a bench press or overhead press? You can’t. That’s why it’s been 3 years since I did either of these movements. I can guarantee you that you can sit on your machines until you can lift the entire stack and you still won’t be able to do this! Contact me now to join one of my movement classes in Hornsby
