Sitting down to move. Just about to start my long journey to attend the European movement meeting in Portugal to learn more about how to move my body so I can better teach others. A teacher should always be a student.
Keeping moving on a plane can be difficult. Some of the biggest problem areas during long periods of sitting are the thoracic spine (upper back) and hips…some important factors in maintaining good motion of the thoracic spine during long periods of sitting are breathing patterns and rotational and side bending movements. Easy stuff to do during a flight. Meditation and rotation is my plan! I just need to find somewhere to squat on board and I’ll be happy! See you in 24hrs!
