Passive stretching is just a stop gap to mobility.
Passive stretching is just a stop gap to mobility. I never stretch my muscles without then working on creating increased strength within my newly acquired range.
The two exercises in this video must be coupled together to ensure my wrists stay healthy and strong. The first exercise is passive stretching, but then I use opposing muscles to pull my joint into the position that I’ve just been stretching. This is strength training through the full range of movement. It results in unbreakable wrists. Really important for anyone who wants to lift weights, box, pushups etc…Train the whole system, not just the muscles that make you look pretty, otherwise sooner or later you are going to end up injured!
