How low do you go? Here is a simple test to work out how low you should go in your squat. Balance a bar or pole on your shoulder and see how low you can squat. If you lack the mobility to squat properly you will compensate by leaning forward and the pole will fall forwards. Only go as low as you can whilst maintaining the pole balance. When you increase the weight without good mobility you will load up your lower back and risk injury.
